Start the Journey
You are not alone.
In our increasingly hyper-sexual culture, more and more men – even men of Christian faith – are experiencing confusion, guilt and grief as they struggle with unwanted and compulsive sexual behaviors such as pornography, sexting, chat rooms and other sexually obsessive behaviors. Sex and emotional romantic encounters are increasingly recognized as addictions people turn to in order to reduce isolation, compensate for lack of emotion and tension, resolve conflict, gain power, provide escape, or supply false emotional and spiritual security.
There is hope and there is help.
If you’re looking for help and want to change, we’d love to come alongside you and welcome you to our 12-step, Christ-centered Homecoming Sex Addiction Recovery Program.
Homecoming Recovery Groups
If you’ve been looking for help and want to change, we offer a 12-step group that acknowledges Jesus Christ as our personal, loving, and forgiving higher power. We call these HOMECOMING GROUPS. Our purpose at HOMECOMING is to share how the 12-step program was instrumental in our recovery when nothing else worked. Through God’s help and the support of others, we stayed sexually sober and withdrew from obsessive intrigue with others, one day at a time. By sharing our experience, strength, and hope with each other, and by working the Steps and applying their Biblical principles, we grew stronger and discovered a way of living that transformed us from the inside out. .
- We acknowledge Jesus Christ as our personal, loving and forgiving higher power.
- We acknowledge God’s Word and the 12 steps as a means to guide us into and sustain us in our recovery.
- We experience through God’s help and through the support of others, that we can live ‘sexually sober’ and withdraw ourselves from obsessive intrigue with others, one day at a time.
- We are dedicated to confidentiality. We guard the anonymity of all who participate.
Our Homecoming Group Mentors are men who have walked through the Prodigals Homecoming Recovery Program, addressing their individual issues with sexual brokenness. At our groups there is no room for judgement or shame. We’re brothers welcoming one another into authentic relationship, walking together toward wholeness.
